RAFFLE DONATIONS NEEDED!

On behalf of the New York State Court Reporters Association, we respectfully request your support for our 2026 Convention, which will be held November 13–15, 2026, at the Nassau County Bar Association, 15th and West Streets, Mineola, New York.

We are currently seeking raffle prize donations to help raise funds for important initiatives, including educational grants for students pursuing careers in court reporting. These grants are especially meaningful in today’s challenging economic climate, helping students offset the cost of tuition and training as they enter the profession.

Court reporters play a critical role in judicial proceedings and wherever the spoken word must be preserved as an accurate written record. They are responsible for ensuring a complete, precise, and secure transcript of legal and other official proceedings.

Realtime court reporters also work in colleges, television, and the film industry, providing closed captioning services for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This specialized area of the profession requires extensive skill and highly advanced training. With more than two million deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in the New York area, we are committed to helping meet this growing need.

With court reporters and captioners from across New York State, the New York State Court Reporters Association is a nonprofit organization operated entirely by volunteers. We would greatly appreciate any gift item your retail store or organization could donate in support of this event. Your generosity will be acknowledged in our promotional materials and on our website.

Please send donations to: Karen Santucci, NYSCRA Convention Co-Chair, 51 Nassau Boulevard, Garden City, New York 11530.

If you plan to donate a raffle item, please make sure you provide the name of your company.

Thank you for your support!
